Chief Financial Officer
Hector Santaella serves as Batanga’s Chief Financial Officer overseeing all financial operations including accounting, finance, and tax areas. Santaella works closely with the management team to establish the company’s financial objectives and strategies, particularly as they pertain to possible mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to the merger of Planeta and Batanga, Santaella has served as Planeta’s Vice President of Finance since 1999. Previously, Mr. Santaella was an Associate Director at Barclays Bank in the Corporate Finance and M&A divisions in the London and Miami offices.
Santaella received his Economics degree from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in Caracas, Venezuela and his Masters in Management from the Arthur D. Little School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
