Batanga is seeking an innovative and natural conversational writer for any one of the U.S. cities featured in our Mi Ciudad blog: http://miciudad.batanga.com. Mi Ciudad is dedicated to making sure our Batangueros know what’s happening in the world of music (especially Latin music!) in the following U.S. cities across the country:
- TX: San Antonio/ Houston/ Dallas
- CA: LA/ San Francisco/ San Diego
- Phoenix
- NYC
- Miami
Job Description:
- Research and identify the latest music happenings around town.
- Write in a natural, conversational style a brief blog post capturing the key interest points for the music loving consumer.
- Maintain a consistent visual image by using and adhering to blog template.
- Create image links and ensure links are up-to-date.
- Submit blog posts on time and meet daily/weekly/monthly blog post quotas.
- Review and approve/disapprove user-generated blog comments promptly.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- BIG ON SOCIAL SCENE and love for Latin music!
- Proficient writer in both English and Spanish
- Natural, conversational writing style
- Computer and Internet savvy
- Ability to be trained on blog software (1-hr training conducted over-the-phone)
Fee structure is negotiable and paid per blog post.
