Non-Paid Internship

Essential Job Functions

  • Administrative duties such as data entry, filing, researching and archiving music related data (e.g., artists, album reviews, video premiers, awards shows, etc…)
  • Internet Radio Programming
  • Learn, observe and assist in a number of functions within the Consumer Product Marketing team, such as:
    • Researching and Interviewing Artists
    • Authoring content and publishing on website
    • Video Editing and Production for online placement
    • Radio Production (i.e., editing voice-overs for Broadcast)
  • Direct interaction with staff to develop online marketing promotions
  • Experience the inner-workings of a leading media and entertainment company focused on reaching the U.S. Hispanic consumer

Required Skills

  • Detail oriented, self-started, exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace, evolving work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Internet Savvy
  • Aptitude to be trained on computer skills associated with audio and image editing and radio programming
  • Passion for music and/or radio production
  • Exposure to online music listening experience
  • Proficiency in Spanish (oral and/or written) is a plus, but not required.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year College-level student
  • Educational studies focus in Radio Broadcasting, Journalism, Marketing, and/or Communications a plus
