Publisher Relations Manager – October 2011

Job Description

The Publisher Relations Manager is responsible for establishing, negotiating and developing online media and vendor relationships. An individual in this position will research, identify and execute agreements with cost-effective, scalable and targeted sources of online media that can provide qualified and profitable traffic while ensuring acceptable ROI metrics/goals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Media Planning and prospecting: identify online media buying opportunities from publishers that represent quality content reaching a Hispanics audience
  • Media Buying: negotiate terms with online publishers ensuring profitability of online campaigns
  • Monitoring: manage delivery of media and adjust plans accordingly
  • Quality Control: content quality, banner location, frequency, impression levels
  • Publisher Payment Reports
  • Manage publisher relationships: account maintenance and customer service
  • Work with the Ad Operations team for all technical aspects related to tagging and reporting

Skills

  • At least 1 year of experience in online media and client services
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about new and emerging internet-based media
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Bilingual English – Spanish
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • BA/BS degree
